Paul has recently arranged and recorded several pieces for the Church of England Advent Podcast series (further details below). The vocals are sung by Judith Hawes. Whilst the arrangements will be heard in full on three of the podcasts, you can hear (and download) two recordings directly:

- Let all mortal flesh keep silence
- Hark! a herald voice is calling

From Monday to Saturday from 3 December to Christmas Day the Church of England are offering a 10-minute podcast based on a reading from the Common Worship Lectionary and featuring a range of music for Advent, some of it provided by local church choirs and musicians.
The music will range from plainsong to new settings of the ancient Advent ‘O Antiphons’ sung by the Choir of Merton College, Oxford, with new worship songs sitting alongside works by Bach, Brahms and Handel.
Each podcast will feature:
- A piece of music for Advent – showcasing some of the rich array of music for this season
- A Bible reading from Common Worship Morning Prayer
- A reflection on the reading from Reflections for Daily Prayer (Church House Publishing)
- A Collect for the day
From Friday 30 November, you will be able to download the Advent 2012 podcasts from:
